Installation instructions:

• Go to https://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2/ and download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2

• Extract dgVoodoo.conf, dgVoodooCpl.exe and the contents (not the folder itself) of MS\x86\ to the folder that contains Croc2.exe

• Run dgVoodooCpl.exe

• Go to the General tab

• Click the .\ button

• Check Windowed

• Go to the DirectX tab

• Uncheck Application controlled fullscreen/windowed state

• Uncheck Disable Alt-Enter to toggle screen state

• Uncheck dgVoodoo Watermark

• Click OK and run the game

• If some textures have a blue tint, try dgVoodoo v2.82.1 or older

That last point about the blue textures is currently under investigation (as of 2024-10-04)

limbus seems to be using this successfully (link)

You can remove dgVoodoo by deleting dgVoodoo.conf, dgVoodooCpl.exe and the 4 D*.dll files (source)
